about

The first in (hopefully many down the road, especially one with Agathocles) line for splits. Originally slated to be shared with Execution Techniques, then Bastards, but plans ended up fizzling. A good friend of mine made some insane sounding breakcore and had nothing planned on ever doing with it. So I asked, and he though no one would be interested. Funny that it's his breakcore ties that caused this to be the most recognizable release from Cogs And Sprockets on the internet. I mean, there's listings on Techno websites, Glitch/Breakcore torrrents,DISCOGS RELEASE PAGE (www.discogs.com/Cogs-And-Sprockets-White-Ninja-Split/release/2113064)

This is one of my favorite releases,I went for less of a raw recording and wrote songs with a little more substance. Less than half the amount of songs on the last release! Limited to 50 copies,an even split between myself and White Ninja. 9 of my copies came with an exclusive hand-numbered satanic woodcut wraparound sleeve alternative cover. Eventually repackaged with "In The Kingdom" on the "Two Things At Once" tape.

The Assück cover was tracked just after this recording and never officially released except virally on the Myspace page for a little bit. Props to Mike and Ralph for remembering it! The first track to feature bass since "Saturating"!
